Tailored to specific locational attributes and socio-economic conditions, the Frankston Urban Renewal Strategy proposed a highly integrated and staged program of social, economic, built form and urban design initiatives.
Proposed to be implemented over a 10 – 15 year period, each stage proposed the optimum grouping of initiatives to attract private sector investment, maximise return on investment, realise urban amenity improvements and efficiencies, and support long term sustainable socio-economic growth within the region.
As senior development manager with the State Governments urban renewal authority, Ben coordinated a diverse team of internal and external specialists, key stakeholders and client representatives, collating the collective input into the final precinctual focused urban renewal strategy.
